Meet the Artists

Shawn Faber (they/them) is a visual artist, a lifelong Californian, and a quintessential Virgo. They make art that creates connections between our bodies, our self-expression, and the beauty of the natural world. Since 2017, GENDER GEMS has provided positive representation for trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming people through magical accessories and apparel. Their work can be found in stores across the US, online at gendergems.com, and @gendergems on Instagram.

Tabitha Brown is an illustrator/designer from Illinois, USA. She specializes in creating colorful digital illustrations of women and children enjoying books, music, and nature. You can find her portfolio at her website: www.thepairabirds.com

Ashley started The Bee & The Fox in 2013. The Bee & The Fox was born out of the fresh scenery that comes with moving to a brand new town and spending weeks in the hospital building back strength after extensive back surgery. When Ashley grew tired of not finding the kinds of tees that she wanted for her boys, she called on her right-hand woman Janet, and they got to work. It all started in Ashley’s garage, and the rest is history. The Bee & The Fox was built from a love for design, which remains one of their core values alongside authenticity and empowerment. The growth has given rise to their voice, for which they are forever grateful. The Bee & The Fox continues to use their voices to support women: mothers, sisters, and daughters alike.

Erin Flett is a textile surface designer, hand printing and sewing her American-made textiles. She is known for her eclectic hand-drawn designs in bold vintage-inspired colors. She believes in locally made craftsmanship and is passionate about the process of designing things that bring joy to your everyday. “COLOR + PATTERN + JOY is timeless”, says Erin. “Your home or what you collect becomes a part of your story. Buying something practical like art, wallpaper, a bag, or a pillow can brighten your space, and because it’s made locally, it makes you feel good.” Erin believes we have an opportunity, a decision each day to support local businesses that are doing a small part to make a big impact in our communities.
